Rob is a member of the AMS Board of Broadcast Meteorology and now judges other meteorologists who are applying for the AMS Certified Broadcast Meteorologist Designation.
Rob's work in the summer of 2008 earned him the Florida Society of Professional Journalists Award for Excellence in Weather Reporting. The SPJ judges described Rob's weathercast as "entertaining commentary on the weather that is delivered in a fun-loving manner."
